Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.67% or 4.1 points to trade at 249.1 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (ST:NDASE) added 1.44% or 1.17 points to end at 82.25 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 1.07% or 8.3 points to 782.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which fell 1.41% or 2.20 points to trade at 153.35 at the close. Hexagon AB ser. B (ST:HEXAb) declined 1.11% or 5.5 points to end at 491.4 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was down 0.98% or 0.35 points to 35.43.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 318 to 311 and 55 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $56.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.12% or 0.08 to hit $65.75 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.45 to trade at $1287.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.51% to 10.5314, while USD/SEK fell 0.25% to 9.3145.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 96.760.
