• Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) jumped 2.55% after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly results.
• Merck (NYSE:MRK) stock gained 2.11% after the company reported quarterly results that were slightly above analysts’ expectations and investors focused on a 66% jump in sales of cancer drug Keytruda.
• Honeywell (NYSE:HON) stock rose 1.48% as fourth-quarter results beat consensus and the company issued stronger-than-expected guidance for 2019.
• Anheuser-Busch InBev stock edged forward 0.34% after reports that the company {{news- 1766102||would spend around $50 million on commercials for Super Bowl Sunday}} in an effort to reach 100 million U.S. viewers.
• Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC) stock jumped 5.38% after the company reported quarterly results that beat on the top and bottom lines. It also said chief financial officer Nicholas Noviello will resign.
• Cigna (NYSE:CI) stock tumbled 5.68% after the company’s guidance for first-quarter earnings was well below consensus.
