Investing.com – Sri Lanka stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Services, Trading and Investment Trust sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share declined 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were Adam Investments Ltd (CM:ADAM), which rose 100.00% or 0.100 points to trade at 0.200 at the close. Meanwhile, PCH Holdings PLC (CM:PCHH) added 33.33% or 0.100 points to end at 0.400 and Blue Diamonds Jewellery Worldwide PLC (CM:BLUE) was up 20.00% or 0.100 points to 0.600 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Samson International PLC (CM:SIL), which fell 20.31% or 19.40 points to trade at 76.10 at the close. Palm Garden Hotels PLC (CM:PALM) declined 16.21% or 4.10 points to end at 21.20 and Autodrome PLC (CM:AUTO) was down 14.77% or 13.00 points to 75.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 92 to 87 and 56 ended unchanged.
Shares in Samson International PLC (CM:SIL) fell to 3-years lows; falling 20.31% or 19.40 to 76.10.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.06% or 0.04 to $72.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.22% or 0.18 to hit $81.56 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1187.70 a troy ounce.
GBP/LKR was down 0.44% to 220.800, while USD/LKR fell 0.03% to 169.210.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 94.88.
