Investing.com – Sri Lanka stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Services, Information Technology and Construction & Engineering sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were PC House PLC (CM:PCHO), which rose 100.00% or 0.100 points to trade at 0.200 at the close. Meanwhile, Kalamazoo Systems PLC (CM:KZOO) added 24.02% or 193.70 points to end at 1000.00 and Standard Capital PLC (CM:SING) was up 14.05% or 8.50 points to 69.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SMB Leasing PLC (CM:SEMB), which fell 12.50% or 0.1000 points to trade at 0.7000 at the close. Adam Investments Ltd (CM:ADAM) declined 12.50% or 0.100 points to end at 0.700 and Tangerine Beach Hotels PLC (CM:TANG) was down 9.29% or 5.90 points to 57.60.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 103 to 87 and 59 ended unchanged.
Shares in PC House PLC (CM:PCHO) rose to 52-week highs; rising 100.00% or 0.100 to 0.200.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.30% or 0.14 to $46.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.24% or 0.12 to hit $49.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.73 to trade at $1225.37 a troy ounce.
GBP/LKR was down 0.15% to 197.045, while USD/LKR fell 0.08% to 152.390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 99.29.
