Investing.com – Sri Lanka stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Services, Stores & Supplies and Construction & Engineering sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share rose 0.47% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were Kotmale Holdings PLC (CM:LAMB), which rose 23.58% or 39.30 points to trade at 206.00 at the close. Meanwhile, SMB Leasing PLC (CM:SEMB) added 16.67% or 0.1000 points to end at 0.7000 and Radiant Gems International PLC (CM:RGEM) was up 15.88% or 3.70 points to 27.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ceylon Leather Products PLC (CM:CLPL), which fell 9.71% or 6.30 points to trade at 58.60 at the close. Ceylon Printers PLC (CM:CPRT) declined 6.84% or 4.40 points to end at 59.90 and Asia Asset Finance Ltd (CM:ASAS) was down 6.67% or 0.100 points to 1.400.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 122 to 68 and 67 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.06% or 0.03 to $50.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.11% or 0.06 to hit $53.05 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1284.00 a troy ounce.
GBP/LKR was down 0.31% to 194.525, while USD/LKR rose 0.03% to 152.140.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 99.83.
