Investing.com – Sri Lanka stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Footwear & Textile and Diversified Holdings sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombo, the CSE All-Share gained 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the CSE All-Share were Trade Finance & Investments PLC (CM:TFIL), which rose 17.65% or 8.70 points to trade at 58.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Lankem Ceylon PLC (CM:LCEY) added 15.38% or 6.00 points to end at 45.00 and Amana Takaful PLC (CM:ATL) was up 14.29% or 0.100 points to 0.800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were PC Pharma PLC (CM:PCPH), which fell 50.00% or 0.1000 points to trade at 0.1000 at the close. Adam Investments Ltd (CM:ADAM) declined 33.33% or 0.100 points to end at 0.200 and Huejay International Investments PLC (CM:HUEJ) was down 23.68% or 9.00 points to 29.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombo Stock Exchange by 92 to 89 and 53 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.88% or 0.54 to $62.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.59% or 0.38 to hit $65.22 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.50 to trade at $1350.70 a troy ounce.
GBP/LKR was down 0.02% to 218.110, while USD/LKR rose 0.17% to 155.490.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 89.02.
