Sigma Lithium Resources Corp (NASDAQ:SGML) announced Friday that the leading global lithium producer has successfully achieved its second shipment goal of 15,000 tons of Zero Green Lithium and finalized a fresh $10 million credit arrangement with Santander (BME:SAN).
The Company also reaffirmed its full year production guidance and remains on track to achieve nameplate production capacity by the end of the 3Q23 as previously announced.
The ongoing ramp-up of Phase 1 production is proceeding as planned, and the company is still on course to meet its 2023 production target of 130,000 tons of Triple Zero Green Lithium. Furthermore, it anticipates reaching a steady annual production rate of 270,000 tons of Triple Zero Green Lithium by the conclusion of Q3.
Additionally, Sigma Lithium has achieved the successful closure of its inaugural Green ACE Credit Line in collaboration with Santander Brazil, amounting to R$50 million (US$10 million). This accomplishment underscores the company's robust operational performance, financial stability, and its esteemed environmental, social, and governance standing within Brazil. It is recognized as a trailblazing "new operational paradigm" for the metals and mining sector in the region.
Shares of SGML are up 3.79% in afternoon trading Friday.
