RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Shares in Brazil's Petrobras (SA:PETR4) opened down 6 percent on Thursday after it took charges totaling $17 billion in its long-delayed audited results published late on Wednesday.
The writedowns led Petroleo Brasileiro SA, as the company is formally known, to post a 2014 loss of 21.6 billion reais ($7.2 billion).
