Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Utilities and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 2.72% or 1.01 points to trade at 38.11 at the close. Meanwhile, Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 1.86% or 0.32 points to end at 17.50 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 1.77% or 0.62 points to 35.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which fell 0.35% or 0.0250 points to trade at 7.1950 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) declined 0.35% or 0.12 points to end at 34.31 and KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) was down 0.30% or 0.14 points to 45.77.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 77 to 53 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.64% or 0.30 to $47.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.29 to hit $44.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 1.98 to trade at $1211.68 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.02% to 1.1397, while EUR/GBP rose 0.08% to 0.8851.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 95.83.
