Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Industrial Investment and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 7.41%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which rose 9.93% or 4.15 points to trade at 45.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Alujain Corporation (SE:2170) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 26.70 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.000 points to 7.211 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SABB Takaful (SE:8080), which fell 10.00% or 1.68 points to trade at 15.12 at the close. Qassim Agriculture Co. (SE:6020) declined 10.00% or 1.00 points to end at 9.00 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) was down 10.00% or 6.40 points to 57.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 197 to 2.
Shares in Halwani Bros (SE:6001) rose to 52-week highs; rising 9.93% or 4.15 to 45.95.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 4.56% or 0.86 to $19.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.49% or 0.13 to hit $26.61 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.95% or 16.05 to trade at $1710.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.28% to 4.1255, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7570.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 99.097.
