Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Hotels & Tourism and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 4.53% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 9.88% or 3.00 points to trade at 33.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310) added 9.87% or 3.35 points to end at 37.30 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) was up 1.34% or 0.80 points to 60.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (SE:2380), which fell 9.95% or 2.34 points to trade at 21.18 at the close. Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) declined 9.94% or 1.74 points to end at 15.76 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was down 9.93% or 2.20 points to 19.96.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 205 to 9 and 2 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 13.04% or 10.22 to $68.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 11.32% or 9.31 to hit $72.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 7.10 to trade at $1791.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.03% to 4.2465, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7507.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 96.078.
