Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 2.42%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061), which rose 10.00% or 16.60 points to trade at 182.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) added 5.61% or 1.26 points to end at 23.70 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) was up 3.11% or 0.80 points to 26.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which fell 7.79% or 1.36 points to trade at 16.10 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 6.49% or 5.10 points to end at 73.50 and Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) was down 5.47% or 0.94 points to 16.24.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 186 to 11 and 2 ended unchanged.
Shares in Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) rose to 5-year highs; rising 10.00% or 16.60 to 182.60.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.02% or 1.85 to $63.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 3.64% or 2.41 to hit $68.66 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.77% or 27.05 to trade at $1555.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.1881, while USD/SAR rose 0.04% to 3.7521.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 96.602.
