Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Financial Services and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 2.42% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030), which rose 4.96% or 0.70 points to trade at 14.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Industrial Services Co. (SE:2190) added 3.88% or 0.56 points to end at 15.00 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) was up 1.63% or 0.40 points to 25.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260), which fell 6.77% or 2.30 points to trade at 31.65 at the close. Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) declined 6.11% or 1.85 points to end at 28.45 and Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200) was down 5.38% or 0.52 points to 9.14.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 181 to 11 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) fell to 52-week lows; down 6.11% or 1.85 to 28.45.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.53% or 1.40 to $53.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $58.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.87% or 28.25 to trade at $1536.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.58% to 4.1786, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 97.550.
