Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 2.18% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210), which rose 1.63% or 2.60 points to trade at 162.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) added 1.32% or 0.30 points to end at 23.00 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:4170) was up 0.93% or 2.00 points to 216.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:7201), which fell 9.96% or 14.80 points to trade at 133.80 at the close. Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120) declined 9.76% or 3.90 points to end at 36.05 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) was down 9.68% or 1.20 points to 11.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 219 to 17 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (TADAWUL:2120) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.76% or 3.90 to 36.05.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.27% or 1.53 to $119.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.17% or 1.43 to hit $120.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.52% or 47.30 to trade at $1,828.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.76% to 3.91, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.78% at 104.82.
