Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Financial Services and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.70% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150), which rose 4.99% or 1.42 points to trade at 29.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) added 2.07% or 0.68 points to end at 33.60 and Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100) was up 1.65% or 0.42 points to 25.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which fell 4.57% or 0.64 points to trade at 13.35 at the close. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) declined 4.55% or 2.02 points to end at 42.40 and AL-BABTAIN POWER &TELECOM CO (SE:2320) was down 4.42% or 2.19 points to 47.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 152 to 12.
Shares in Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) rose to 5-year highs; rising 2.07% or 0.68 to 33.60.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.74% or 1.06 to $59.76 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.17% or 1.40 to hit $62.87 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1199.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.13% to 4.2567, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 94.31.
