Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Building & Construction and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.65% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030), which rose 7.66% or 2.10 points to trade at 29.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL:1322) added 5.37% or 3.20 points to end at 62.80 and Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:2081) was up 4.55% or 7.00 points to 161.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082), which fell 9.98% or 44.60 points to trade at 402.40 at the close. Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) declined 7.89% or 0.72 points to end at 8.40 and The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010) was down 6.41% or 9.00 points to 131.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 191 to 93 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) fell to all time lows; down 7.89% or 0.72 to 8.40.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.61% or 0.48 to $78.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.66% or 0.55 to hit $82.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $2,364.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 104.75.
