Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.60%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (SE:8200), which rose 2.72% or 0.21 points to trade at 7.92 at the close. Meanwhile, The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 2.50% or 0.36 points to end at 14.76 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was up 2.50% or 1.00 points to 41.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which fell 6.65% or 0.84 points to trade at 11.80 at the close. Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) declined 3.75% or 1.30 points to end at 33.40 and Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) was down 3.75% or 4.00 points to 102.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 151 to 28 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $57.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.65% or 0.42 to hit $64.03 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 10.75 to trade at $1410.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 4.2691, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 95.657.
