Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financial Services, Petrochemicals and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.58% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4162), which rose 9.96% or 7.80 points to trade at 86.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) added 5.98% or 2.80 points to end at 49.60 and Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (TADAWUL:1304) was up 5.87% or 1.70 points to 30.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ADES Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2382), which fell 9.93% or 2.20 points to trade at 19.96 at the close. Arabian Drilling Co (TADAWUL:2381) declined 9.59% or 17.80 points to end at 167.80 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) was down 7.14% or 0.01 points to 0.13.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 150 to 115 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4162) rose to all time highs; rising 9.96% or 7.80 to 86.10. Shares in Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300) rose to 3-years highs; rising 5.98% or 2.80 to 49.60. Shares in Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (TADAWUL:1304) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.87% or 1.70 to 30.65.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.02% or 0.79 to $77.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.90% or 0.74 to hit $81.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 5.70 to trade at $2,056.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 103.33.
