Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Hotels & Tourism and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Pharmaceutical Appliances (SE:2070), which rose 9.99% or 2.38 points to trade at 26.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Wataniya Insurance Company (SE:8300) added 9.98% or 1.66 points to end at 18.30 and Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) was up 8.82% or 1.50 points to 18.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Maather REIT (SE:4334), which fell 9.95% or 0.84 points to trade at 7.60 at the close. United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) declined 8.39% or 2.30 points to end at 25.10 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) was down 8.09% or 4.40 points to 50.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 159 to 37 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 8.68% or 2.25 to $23.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 3.83% or 1.09 to hit $27.38 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.48% or 21.85 to trade at $1501.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.01% to 4.0190, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7578.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 103.188.
