Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.49% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Qassim Cement Co (SE:3040), which rose 4.18% or 2.10 points to trade at 52.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Northern Region Cement Co (SE:3004) added 1.92% or 0.20 points to end at 10.64 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 1.80% or 0.60 points to 33.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which fell 7.47% or 1.30 points to trade at 16.10 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 7.46% or 5.00 points to end at 62.00 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was down 6.60% or 3.10 points to 43.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 154 to 32 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in Northern Region Cement Co (SE:3004) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 1.92% or 0.20 to 10.64. Shares in Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) fell to 52-week lows; down 7.46% or 5.00 to 62.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.87% or 0.46 to $53.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.72% or 0.42 to hit $58.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 9.95 to trade at $1513.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.22% to 4.1174, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 98.748.
