Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.47% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291), which rose 9.97% or 2.34 points to trade at 25.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213) added 9.91% or 0.85 points to end at 9.43 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) was up 2.91% or 1.30 points to 45.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004), which fell 5.96% or 3.30 points to trade at 52.10 at the close. Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) declined 4.09% or 1.40 points to end at 32.80 and Alinma Bank (SE:1150) was down 3.74% or 0.96 points to 24.74.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 48 and 8 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (SE:4291) rose to all time highs; rising 9.97% or 2.34 to 25.80.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.12% or 0.07 to $56.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.33% or 0.21 to hit $63.16 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.65 to trade at $1419.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.06% to 4.1751, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 97.815.
