Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Media & Publishing and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.44%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Medical Care Company (SE:4005), which rose 5.45% or 2.70 points to trade at 52.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Anb Insurance (SE:8011) added 2.72% or 0.58 points to end at 21.90 and Southern Province Cement Co. (SE:3050) was up 2.06% or 0.95 points to 47.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060), which fell 4.15% or 0.78 points to trade at 18.02 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 4.07% or 0.90 points to end at 21.20 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) was down 3.74% or 0.88 points to 22.64.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 150 to 22 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.15% or 0.78 to 18.02. Shares in Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.07% or 0.90 to 21.20.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 5.01% or 3.08 to $58.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 4.28% or 3.04 to hit $67.95 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 9.75 to trade at $1283.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.04% to 4.1801, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 97.972.
