Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Financial Services and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.36%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (SE:1213), which rose 7.82% or 2.30 points to trade at 31.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) added 4.70% or 0.50 points to end at 11.14 and Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130) was up 2.91% or 0.44 points to 15.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which fell 4.35% or 3.00 points to trade at 66.00 at the close. National Com Bnk (SE:1180) declined 3.79% or 1.70 points to end at 43.15 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was down 3.77% or 1.30 points to 33.15.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 143 to 47 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.39% or 0.22 to $56.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.47% or 0.29 to hit $61.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 9.85 to trade at $1495.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.13% to 4.1609, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 97.532.
