Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Building & Construction and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.34%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Mouwasat Medical Services Company (SE:4002), which rose 3.59% or 5.80 points to trade at 167.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) added 3.50% or 6.40 points to end at 189.00 and Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (SE:2281) was up 2.95% or 2.60 points to 90.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050), which fell 5.18% or 2.30 points to trade at 42.10 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) declined 4.98% or 2.15 points to end at 41.00 and Sadr Logistics Co (SE:1832) was down 4.74% or 6.40 points to 128.60.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 186 to 31 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 2.87% or 2.08 to $70.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 2.72% or 2.04 to hit $72.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1798.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.77% to 4.2182, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7529.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.66% at 96.645.
