Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Financial Services, Agriculture & Food and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.34% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160), which rose 3.71% or 0.25 points to trade at 6.99 at the close. Meanwhile, Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) added 2.88% or 1.30 points to end at 46.40 and Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360) was up 2.84% or 1.25 points to 45.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alujain Corporation (SE:2170), which fell 3.83% or 0.88 points to trade at 22.10 at the close. Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) declined 3.57% or 1.25 points to end at 33.75 and National Com Bnk (SE:1180) was down 3.46% or 1.65 points to 46.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 125 to 58 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 2.88% or 1.30 to 46.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.73% or 1.55 to $55.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.33% or 1.41 to hit $59.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 7.75 to trade at $1529.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.57% to 4.1222, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 98.763.
