Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Retail and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8210), which rose 3.59% or 6.00 points to trade at 173.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) added 3.31% or 0.85 points to end at 26.50 and Nama Chemicals Co. (TADAWUL:2210) was up 2.99% or 1.35 points to 46.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which fell 9.93% or 2.85 points to trade at 25.85 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8020) declined 8.72% or 1.38 points to end at 14.44 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) was down 8.60% or 1.74 points to 18.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 188 to 49 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.93% or 2.85 to 25.85.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.44% or 3.11 to $93.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.93% or 2.83 to hit $99.31 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 18.70 to trade at $1,767.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.64% to 3.76, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 108.08.
