Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Financial Services and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.09%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110), which rose 10.00% or 7.60 points to trade at 83.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) added 9.99% or 8.50 points to end at 93.60 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) was up 9.93% or 3.00 points to 33.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (TADAWUL:1321), which fell 6.80% or 9.80 points to trade at 134.40 at the close. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 6.67% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (TADAWUL:2370) was down 5.40% or 1.70 points to 29.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 120 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:2110) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 7.60 to 83.60. Shares in Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.93% or 3.00 to 33.20.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.32% or 0.26 to $80.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.33% or 0.28 to hit $85.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 17.20 to trade at $2,177.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.25% at 103.92.
