Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340), which rose 3.41% or 0.40 points to trade at 12.14 at the close. Meanwhile, Bawan (SE:1302) added 3.36% or 0.50 points to end at 15.40 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) was up 2.64% or 0.52 points to 20.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Advanced Industries Co. (SE:2120), which fell 7.79% or 1.14 points to trade at 13.50 at the close. Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) declined 3.95% or 2.90 points to end at 70.50 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250) was down 3.16% or 0.72 points to 22.04.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 127 to 56 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bawan (SE:1302) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.36% or 0.50 to 15.40.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.46% or 0.77 to $53.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.25% or 0.73 to hit $59.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 6.15 to trade at $1506.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.16% to 4.1228, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 98.477.
