Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Media & Publishing and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084), which rose 9.96% or 2.06 points to trade at 22.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) added 7.11% or 0.69 points to end at 10.40 and SABIC AgriNutrients Co (TADAWUL:2020) was up 3.28% or 3.60 points to 113.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. Maharah for Human Resources (TADAWUL:1831) declined 6.04% or 0.39 points to end at 6.07 and Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) was down 4.64% or 0.28 points to 5.75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 227 to 64 and 14 ended unchanged.
Shares in Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.96% or 2.06 to 22.74. Shares in Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) fell to 52-week lows; losing 7.14% or 0.01 to 0.13. Shares in Retal Urban Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4322) rose to 52-week highs; up 7.11% or 0.69 to 10.40.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.49% or 1.16 to $79.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.38% or 1.13 to hit $83.05 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 22.25 to trade at $2,348.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.69% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.04% at 104.10.
