Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Transport and Hotels & Tourism sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.02% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alinma Tokio Marine Co (TADAWUL:8312), which rose 3.95% or 0.60 points to trade at 15.80 at the close. Meanwhile, National Agriculture Development Co (TADAWUL:6010) added 3.59% or 1.70 points to end at 49.00 and Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300) was up 2.99% or 0.44 points to 15.18 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Leejam Sports Company SJSC (TADAWUL:1830), which fell 5.90% or 8.80 points to trade at 140.40 at the close. Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) declined 4.20% or 0.94 points to end at 21.44 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) was down 3.91% or 5.00 points to 123.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 200 to 70 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.84% or 2.53 to $86.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.78% or 2.53 to hit $88.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 5.75 to trade at $1,835.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.24% to 3.94, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 106.58.
