Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (SE:4130), which rose 3.12% or 0.56 points to trade at 18.50 at the close. Meanwhile, ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) added 2.56% or 0.54 points to end at 21.64 and Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) was up 2.06% or 1.70 points to 84.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030), which fell 6.77% or 0.86 points to trade at 11.84 at the close. Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) declined 5.25% or 0.46 points to end at 8.30 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was down 5.24% or 1.10 points to 19.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 129 to 49 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) fell to 52-week lows; losing 5.25% or 0.46 to 8.30. Shares in Leejam Sports Company SJSC (SE:1830) rose to all time highs; rising 2.06% or 1.70 to 84.40.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.02% or 0.57 to $56.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.65% or 0.99 to hit $61.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.10% or 1.45 to trade at $1514.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.01% to 4.1622, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.00% at 98.062.
