Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Industrial Investment and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (TADAWUL:4342), which rose 4.75% or 0.54 points to trade at 11.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300) added 4.56% or 0.48 points to end at 11.00 and Taleem REIT Fund (TADAWUL:4333) was up 2.74% or 0.32 points to 12.02 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240), which fell 9.99% or 2.08 points to trade at 18.74 at the close. Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) declined 9.92% or 1.20 points to end at 10.90 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) was down 8.39% or 1.62 points to 17.68.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 192 to 47 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:4240) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.99% or 2.08 to 18.74. Shares in Al Hokair Group (TADAWUL:1820) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.92% or 1.20 to 10.90.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.76% or 1.91 to $110.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.69% or 1.89 to hit $113.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 7.90 to trade at $1,809.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.10% to 3.92, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 104.85.
