Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financial Services, Building & Construction and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (TADAWUL:2300), which rose 4.98% or 1.80 points to trade at 37.95 at the close. Meanwhile, International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:2082) added 3.93% or 8.20 points to end at 217.00 and Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013) was up 3.72% or 3.70 points to 103.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 7.14% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. BANK ALBILAD (TADAWUL:1140) declined 6.27% or 2.45 points to end at 36.65 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050) was down 3.63% or 1.20 points to 31.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 189 to 79 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.25% or 1.92 to $83.47 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.91% or 1.72 to hit $88.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.48% or 9.55 to trade at $1,985.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.18% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 106.45.
