Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Building & Construction and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.91%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040), which rose 5.13% or 1.80 points to trade at 36.90 at the close. Meanwhile, City Cement Co (SE:3003) added 3.71% or 0.64 points to end at 17.90 and Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170) was up 3.44% or 0.85 points to 25.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060), which fell 9.28% or 5.05 points to trade at 49.35 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (SE:4061) declined 8.95% or 15.40 points to end at 156.60 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) was down 6.55% or 1.80 points to 25.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 175 to 20 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.81% or 0.51 to $62.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.51% or 0.35 to hit $67.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.40 to trade at $1576.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.26% to 4.1722, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7514.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 96.840.
