Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.79%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which rose 9.90% or 2.36 points to trade at 26.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) added 4.69% or 2.50 points to end at 55.80 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) was up 4.46% or 0.52 points to 12.18 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which fell 5.20% or 4.10 points to trade at 74.80 at the close. Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) declined 4.95% or 0.88 points to end at 16.88 and Saudi Cement Company (SE:3030) was down 3.34% or 2.30 points to 66.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 137 to 49 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050) rose to 3-years highs; up 9.90% or 2.36 to 26.20. Shares in Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 4.69% or 2.50 to 55.80.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.55% or 1.34 to $51.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.03% or 1.17 to hit $56.52 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 13.55 to trade at $1521.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.29% to 4.1220, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 98.373.
