Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.77% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230), which rose 9.92% or 9.80 points to trade at 108.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading&Industrial Group (TADAWUL:1213) added 4.15% or 1.90 points to end at 47.65 and Etihad Etisalat Co (TADAWUL:7020) was up 3.51% or 1.30 points to 38.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Co (TADAWUL:1111), which fell 5.43% or 13.20 points to trade at 230.00 at the close. Riyad REIT (TADAWUL:4330) declined 4.66% or 0.56 points to end at 11.46 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:2080) was down 4.11% or 2.50 points to 58.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 166 to 67 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) rose to all time highs; rising 9.92% or 9.80 to 108.60.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.78% or 3.28 to $90.15 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 4.01% or 3.73 to hit $96.75 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1,722.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.23% to 3.73, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 109.82.
