Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Financial Services, Telecoms & IT and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Shipping Co. (TADAWUL:4030), which rose 9.93% or 2.70 points to trade at 29.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) added 9.87% or 3.00 points to end at 33.40 and Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) was up 5.16% or 1.12 points to 22.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BANK ALBILAD (TADAWUL:1140), which fell 3.55% or 1.40 points to trade at 38.00 at the close. Theeb Rent a Car Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4261) declined 3.25% or 2.50 points to end at 74.40 and Riyad Bank (TADAWUL:1010) was down 3.08% or 0.90 points to 28.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 155 to 91 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160) rose to 3-years highs; rising 9.87% or 3.00 to 33.40.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.27% or 0.96 to $76.68 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.29% or 1.05 to hit $82.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 2.08% or 38.10 to trade at $1,872.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.59% to 4.00, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 104.15.
