Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Cement and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8050), which rose 5.84% or 0.90 points to trade at 16.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300) added 4.85% or 0.60 points to end at 12.96 and Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8100) was up 3.67% or 0.46 points to 13.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alinma Bank (TADAWUL:1150), which fell 4.25% or 1.40 points to trade at 31.55 at the close. Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (TADAWUL:4013) declined 3.33% or 8.00 points to end at 232.20 and Banque Saudi Fransi (TADAWUL:1050) was down 3.28% or 1.35 points to 39.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 150 to 92 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $76.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.18% or 0.15 to hit $82.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 18.60 to trade at $1,961.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.38% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 101.21.
