Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Energy & Utilities and Agriculture & Food sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040), which rose 9.89% or 3.90 points to trade at 43.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013) added 5.90% or 12.20 points to end at 219.00 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) was up 3.75% or 2.60 points to 72.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180), which fell 9.96% or 2.26 points to trade at 20.42 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (TADAWUL:4300) declined 8.08% or 1.38 points to end at 15.70 and National Com Bnk (TADAWUL:1180) was down 6.27% or 4.00 points to 59.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 155 to 80 and 12 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.96% or 2.26 to 20.42. Shares in National Com Bnk (TADAWUL:1180) fell to 52-week lows; falling 6.27% or 4.00 to 59.80.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.74% or 1.53 to $89.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.39% or 1.30 to hit $95.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.45 to trade at $1,667.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.46% to 3.77, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.03% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 109.82.
