Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Agriculture & Food, Financial Services and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 3.85% or 1.70 points to trade at 45.90 at the close. Meanwhile, City Cement Co (SE:3003) added 3.30% or 0.31 points to end at 9.69 and Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330) was up 3.20% or 0.22 points to 7.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Almarai Company (SE:2280), which fell 6.07% or 3.40 points to trade at 52.60 at the close. Samba Financial Group (SE:1090) declined 3.26% or 1.20 points to end at 35.60 and Banque Saudi Fransi (SE:1050) was down 2.77% or 1.05 points to 36.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 92 to 76 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 3.85% or 1.70 to 45.90.
Crude oil for March delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $54.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 2.35% or 1.44 to hit $62.62 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.86% or 11.15 to trade at $1281.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.04% to 4.2649, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 96.020.
