Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Agriculture & Food and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030), which rose 3.87% or 1.60 points to trade at 42.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (SE:2160) added 2.38% or 0.16 points to end at 6.87 and Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110) was up 2.21% or 0.44 points to 20.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050), which fell 5.49% or 0.66 points to trade at 11.36 at the close. Bawan (SE:1302) declined 4.16% or 0.62 points to end at 14.28 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was down 3.92% or 0.40 points to 9.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 143 to 35 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.38% or 0.21 to $55.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $60.34 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.95 to trade at $1509.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.00% to 4.1567, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 98.083.
