Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Industrial Investment and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180), which rose 6.10% or 1.61 points to trade at 28.00 at the close. Meanwhile, The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) added 2.70% or 0.63 points to end at 23.98 and Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:4100) was up 2.24% or 1.84 points to 83.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which fell 8.10% or 1.26 points to trade at 14.30 at the close. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 5.67% or 1.79 points to end at 29.80 and ALABDULLATIF CO. (SE:2340) was down 5.26% or 0.74 points to 13.32.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 156 to 31 and 1 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) fell to 52-week lows; losing 8.10% or 1.26 to 14.30.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.19% or 0.13 to $67.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.66% or 0.48 to hit $72.65 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1308.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.40% to 4.5019, while USD/SAR fell 0.45% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 92.21.
