Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Cement and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.72%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300), which rose 10.00% or 0.85 points to trade at 9.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8040) added 2.60% or 0.75 points to end at 29.65 and Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) was up 2.36% or 0.30 points to 13.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250), which fell 3.81% or 0.86 points to trade at 21.70 at the close. Riyad Bank (SE:1010) declined 3.68% or 0.88 points to end at 23.06 and Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SE:2010) was down 3.23% or 3.00 points to 89.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 119 to 51 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SE:2010) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.23% or 3.00 to 89.80.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 5.43% or 3.40 to $59.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 6.03% or 4.16 to hit $64.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1511.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.38% to 4.1417, while USD/SAR rose 0.00% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 98.028.
