Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate Development, Cement and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110), which rose 5.11% or 0.66 points to trade at 13.58 at the close. Meanwhile, AlJazira Mawten REIT (SE:4331) added 5.09% or 0.56 points to end at 11.56 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) was up 4.53% or 2.40 points to 55.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070), which fell 5.29% or 1.70 points to trade at 30.45 at the close. National Agriculture Development Co (SE:6010) declined 5.25% or 1.60 points to end at 28.85 and Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co. (SE:2300) was down 3.86% or 1.20 points to 29.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 61 and 8 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.06% or 0.83 to $39.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.28% or 0.97 to hit $41.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.45 to trade at $1783.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.30% to 4.2285, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7510.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.36% at 96.953.
