Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Petrochemicals and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:4160), which rose 9.96% or 2.70 points to trade at 29.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) added 9.93% or 2.34 points to end at 25.90 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8311) was up 7.18% or 0.86 points to 12.84 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:2200), which fell 10.00% or 9.90 points to trade at 89.10 at the close. Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:1320) declined 10.00% or 3.95 points to end at 35.55 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) was down 9.94% or 14.40 points to 130.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 178 to 98 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.78% or 1.55 to $88.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.50% or 1.36 to hit $92.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.76% or 14.85 to trade at $1,932.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 104.46.
