Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Media & Publishing and Real Estate Development sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.70% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co SJSC (TADAWUL:8170), which rose 9.99% or 1.72 points to trade at 18.94 at the close. Meanwhile, Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) added 6.36% or 1.16 points to end at 19.40 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) was up 4.67% or 5.40 points to 121.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013), which fell 9.99% or 15.00 points to trade at 135.20 at the close. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:7040) declined 9.90% or 8.20 points to end at 74.60 and Saudi Airlines Catering Company (TADAWUL:6004) was down 8.36% or 9.40 points to 103.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 196 to 75 and 12 ended unchanged.

Shares in Development Works Food Co (TADAWUL:6013) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.99% or 15.00 to 135.20. Shares in Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 6.36% or 1.16 to 19.40.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.11% or 0.92 to $81.90 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.06% or 0.91 to hit $85.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 6.00 to trade at $1,970.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.44% to 4.12, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 101.92.
