Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Financial Services and Building & Construction sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020), which rose 4.76% or 0.66 points to trade at 14.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Arabian Centres Co (TADAWUL:4321) added 3.96% or 0.80 points to end at 21.00 and Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) was up 3.61% or 2.50 points to 71.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005), which fell 4.65% or 7.60 points to trade at 156.00 at the close. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) declined 3.41% or 0.88 points to end at 24.92 and Batic Investments and Logistics Co (TADAWUL:4110) was down 3.21% or 0.07 points to 2.11.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 186 to 83 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 4.76% or 0.66 to 14.52. Shares in Saudi Automotive Services Co. (TADAWUL:4050) rose to 5-year highs; rising 3.61% or 2.50 to 71.80.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 1.09% or 0.81 to $73.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.07% or 0.85 to hit $78.85 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.60 to trade at $2,049.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.36% to 4.12, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 101.67.
