Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Telecoms & IT and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 4.15% or 1.60 points to trade at 40.15 at the close. Meanwhile, National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) added 3.89% or 2.30 points to end at 61.50 and Jadwa REIT Al Haramain Fund (SE:4332) was up 3.24% or 0.26 points to 8.28 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Electricity Company (SE:5110), which fell 3.59% or 0.90 points to trade at 24.20 at the close. Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:7201) declined 3.40% or 3.30 points to end at 93.90 and Taleem REIT Fund (SE:4333) was down 3.31% or 0.54 points to 15.76.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 124 to 66 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 4.15% or 1.60 to 40.15. Shares in National Medical Care Company (SE:4005) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 3.89% or 2.30 to 61.50.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.23% or 0.81 to $66.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.19% or 0.82 to hit $69.70 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.31% or 5.55 to trade at $1781.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.14% to 4.4985, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.45% at 91.335.
