Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Building & Construction and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.65%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030), which rose 3.85% or 4.00 points to trade at 107.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) added 3.61% or 3.60 points to end at 103.40 and Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230) was up 2.47% or 0.60 points to 24.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (SE:8240), which fell 2.58% or 1.00 points to trade at 37.75 at the close. Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (SE:8150) declined 2.49% or 1.50 points to end at 58.80 and City Cement Co (SE:3003) was down 2.46% or 0.70 points to 27.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 148 to 38 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Moammar Information Systems Co CJSC (SE:7200) rose to all time highs; up 3.61% or 3.60 to 103.40.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.28% or 0.15 to $52.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.27% or 0.15 to hit $55.83 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.60 to trade at $1855.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.21% to 4.5619, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 90.177.
