Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Transport and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Halwani Bros (SE:6001), which rose 9.90% or 10.40 points to trade at 115.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co (SE:4191) added 4.47% or 2.30 points to end at 53.80 and Saudi Arabia Refineries Co. (SE:2030) was up 3.74% or 4.00 points to 111.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi vitrified clay pipes co. (SE:2360), which fell 4.42% or 5.00 points to trade at 108.00 at the close. Al Omran Industrial & Trading Co (SE:4141) declined 3.65% or 4.40 points to end at 116.20 and Al Kathiri Holding Co (SE:3008) was down 3.44% or 3.50 points to 98.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 153 to 40 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Halwani Bros (SE:6001) rose to all time highs; rising 9.90% or 10.40 to 115.40.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.03% or 0.54 to $52.74 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.22% or 0.67 to hit $55.69 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.90% or 16.60 to trade at $1866.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.36% to 4.5351, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 90.830.
